Our rental ACR MicroFix GPS 406 Personal Locator Beacons’s have proven to be lifesavers around the world. They are easy to activate by push button. Upon activation the internal GPS will acquire a position and transmit it along with an identifier code to the SARSAT satellites alerting the New Zealand Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) that you need help immediately. We will liaise with RCC and inform them of your names and itinerary as notified on your Rental Agreement.

406 PLB’s work fast and accurately. In ideal situations they can notify RCC of your position to 120 metres in minutes.

Rates:

Daily rate $20.00.

One week hire: $100 plus $10 dollars a day for any day more than 7 days.

Return postage and packaging to any where in NZ included on rentals over 2 days.

Free drop off or pick up anywhere in Christchurch.
